Lori Harvey was born on January 13, 1997, in the United States of America. Her mother, Marjorie Bridges, had a troubled life prior to her marriage to Steve Harvey. According to reports published by ‘Radar Online,’ Marjorie used to be married to drug lord Jim L. Townsend and her two older children, Morgan (born 1987) and Jason (born 1991), were fathered by him. Townsend spent 26 years in jail before he was pardoned by the former US President Barack Obama in 2017. Marjorie was also investigated for her association with Townsend. Five years after he was sentenced, Marjorie decided to part ways with him. However, she did not leave the criminal world altogether and had a relationship with Lori’s father, Donnell Woods, who is also a drug lord.

Prior to Marjorie, Steve Harvey had been married twice. From 1980 to 1994, he was married to Marcia. They have three children together, twin daughters Brandi and Karli (born 1982) and son Broderick Harvey Jr. (born 1991). His second wife was Mary Shackelford, whom Steve married in 1996. In 1997, she gave birth to their son Wynton. Shackelford alleged that Steve had an extramarital affair with Marjorie while he was married to her. They divorced in 2005 and Steve and Marjorie exchanged wedding vows on June 25, 2007. While they do not have any children together, they have helped each other in raising their respective children. Harvey served as the father-figure in the lives of Marjorie’s three children. They, in turn, adopted his surname. Since she was a child, one of Lori’s passions has been horseback riding. She used to be a competitive horseback rider and harboured Olympic aspirations. She competed through her high-school years and even when she attended a college in Florida. However, she ended up severely hurting her back and was forced to stop competing. As a result, she left college and began taking online classes.

Career

After realizing that she did not have any hope for a career as a competitive horseback rider, Lori decided to pursue modelling. While she did have a clear advantage over other aspiring models because of her famous stepfather, she experienced her own share of struggles in the world of fashion.

Lori has walked on the ramp for Dolce & Gabbana, among other brands, during the Paris and Milan Fashion Weeks several times. In September 2017, she and Justin Combs’ brother, Christian Combs, were featured together on the ramp during one such event. She has a highly popular Instagram account with over a million followers and uses it to promote brands like Hermès and Chanel.

Lori does not look like a typical model. She is curvaceous and is only 5 feet 3 inches (161.5 cm) tall. In an interview with BET, she has stated that she accepts that she is not a traditional model. She has also spoken about the dearth of people of colour in the fashion industry, reporting that, “I think I was one of five girls backstage at the (fashion) show that was African-American.”

Personal Life & Relationships

In recent months, rumours have circulated and claims have been made linking Lori to various celebrities. One such rumour linked her to rapper Sean Combs, better known as Puff Daddy or P Diddy, but TMZ reported that it was untrue. She was also linked to British F1 driver Lewis Hamilton after they were reportedly seen together at a club. This was never confirmed either.

She dated rapper Trey Songz from late 2018 to early 2019. The relationship garnered significant media attention and they were photographed together multiple times. In December, one of these photographs drew out petty responses from rapper Future and Justin Combs, the oldest son of P Diddy. While Future wrote on his Instagram account, “You ducked too late. I see you”, Justin posted and then deleted the following, “Should’ve ducked sooner!!”

In June 2017, Lori got engaged to Dutch footballer Memphis Depay, but they later broke up.
