Luciana Salazar is an Argentine model, singer and actress, who is the niece of actress Evangelina Salazar and singer Palito Ortega. Starting her career as a model, she established herself as a television and theatre actress, as well as a singer. Her first television role was on the show 'Poné a Francella' (The era of the penguin) in 2003. In 2004, she participated in 'El Show de Videomatch' (The Videomatch Show), a comedy show featuring videos of sports bloopers allegedly caught on hidden cameras. The same year she appeared on the Argentine sitcom 'Los Roldán'. In October 2004, she debuted on Chilean television after being invited by Televisión Nacional de Chile to appear on the program 'De pe a pa'. She also made guest appearance on the Spanish-language American television program 'Don Francisco presents'. In February 2005, she was voted the Queen of the 'Festival Internacional de la Canción de Viña del Mar' in Chile. She had a major role in the 2006 TV series 'Amo de casa' (Master of Home). She was also the protagonist of the erotic television series 'Luli in Love' on Playboy TV. She represented the Argentine national soccer team at the 2006 FIFA World Cup.
