Luka Sabbat is an American model, actor, stylist, and fashion designer. After gaining initial fame as a model by appearing in fashion publications such as ‘Vogue,’ ‘Complex,’ and ‘Refinery29,’ he is well on his way to establishing himself as an actor. A native of New York, Sabbat spent a considerable part of his childhood in Paris as well. Despite being born in a family with a legacy in fashion, he was initially not that interested in fashion, preferring to invest his time and attention in hip-hop music and video games. He was discovered by photographer and casting agent Kevin Amato and subsequently signed with ReQuest Model Management. In the ensuing years, Sabbat built up an impressive résumé by working with the likes of Dolce & Gabbana, Hugo Boss, Vogue, Tommy Hilfiger and American Eagle. Furthermore, he was part of the Adidas Originals “Future” campaign. In 2018, Sabbat made his acting debut by portraying Luca Hall in Freeform’s sitcom ‘Grown-ish’.

Career
In 2015, Luka Sabbat was spotted in SoHo by Kevin Amato who was looking to cast young talents for Hood By Air at the time. Soon after, he met the owner of ReQuest Model Management and subsequently signed with the agency.
It did not take him long to find success in the industry. He has since worked with Dolce & Gabbana, Hugo Boss, Vogue, Tommy Hilfiger, and American Eagle and has been featured on Vogue, Complex, and Refinery29. Reputable news outlets such as Forbes and the New York Times have published articles on him. Sabbat was part of Adidas Originals “Future” campaign, which, among other things, allowed him the opportunity to appear on a billboard that towered above Times Square. He was also selected to walk the runway at Kanye West’s ‘Yeezy Season 1 Presentation’ show at New York Fashion Week in 2015.
Sabbat has stated that he wishes to be known more for designing than modelling. He serves as the artistic director of a project named ‘HotMess’, which started off as a photographic collaboration with photographer Noah Dillon. The collection was later displayed at Milk Studios in New York and spawned the Hot Mess merchandise collection.
He has also collaborated with Italian jewellery designer Gianni Monini to set up the LUKA X MONINI line. Their catalogue includes earrings, pendants, bracelets, necklaces and rings that can cost as much as $2,400. Furthermore, he created the Sabbat X RLTD clothing line with his father to benefit the charity Help Haiti.
As an actor, he has appeared in the TV series ‘Grown-ish’ as Luca Hall. He is set to make his cinematic debut with the upcoming film ‘The Dead Don’t Die’.

Personal Life
Luka Sabbat was born on November 26, 1997, in New York City, New York to Clark Sabbat and Jessica Romer. Since he was three years old, he had spent a considerable part of his young life in Paris. Sabbat has described his own heritage as a mix of Irish, English, German and Haitian. He has a half-brother named Lynn Levoy through his father.
Clark Sabbat is a renowned fashion designer. He is a first-generation American born to Haitian parents. Like his son, Clark is a New York native. He initially had aspirations of becoming an architect but later chose to pursue a career in the fashion industry. He has been in the business for more than two decades and is a presently a freelance designer associated with the likes of J Crew, Ann Taylor, and Loft.
Jessica Romer used to be a well-known fashion stylist prior to her changing paths and becoming a chef. While she was a fashion stylist, she had worked for the fashion designers Christian Dior and John Galliano. She had also worked as a model booker and as an assistant at Bureau Betak, a leading fashion show production company.
Despite the fact that he was raised in a family with a fashion background in two cities with thriving fashion industries and cultures, Sabbat did not have much interest in fashion in the early years of his life. Instead, he spent time playing video games, listening to hip-hop and sleeping. It was not until he was discovered by Kevin Amato that he seriously began to consider modelling as a career.
According to Sabbat, he was the class clown and even took comedy improv classes in high school. He later graduated from Lower Manhattan Arts Academy. He attended college but dropped out even before the first semester was over. In an interview with Forbes in 2017, Sabbat stated that while he initially wanted to experience college and do “dumb stuff”, he suddenly became very professional.
Sabbat dated a young Australian woman named Dani Stani in 2014. In 2017, he was in a relationship with Costa Rican model Adriana Mora. He was also linked to another model, Kaia Gerber. In September 2018, he was spotted with television personality, socialite, model, and businesswoman Kourtney Kardashian, who is 19 years older than him. On 15 September, they were seen having dinner together at The Nice Guy, an Italian restaurant in Los Angeles. Afterwards, they went to Chateau Marmont.
