Marc D'Amelio Biography

After completing school, he pursued a Bachelor’s degree in political science in 1991 from the University of Connecticut at Storrs. He has experience working in the fashion industry.

In 2000, Marc D'Amelio founded the apparel company called the Madsoul Clothing Company. In 2007, he opened the Level 4 Collective Showroom.

For the 2016-2017 school year, Marc D'Amelio was elected to the Norwalk High School Parent Teacher Organization and Parents Club. Additionally, he was elected to the Norwalk High School Governance Council.

In 2018, Marc D'Amelio contested on Republican party ticket to represent District 25 in the Connecticut State Senate but lost the election.

Marc D'Amelio is quite a sensation on social media platforms like Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok. He has gained over 1.8 million followers on Instagram, over 650K followers on  Twitter and more than 4 million fans on TikTok.

In 2019, he featured with Lester Holt on NBC News. In addition, Marc and his wife managed an interview with Taylor Harton to discuss their newly found internet attention.

On 29 May 2021, Marc D'Amelio faced backlash from the social media community for his old tweets about being a “white guy”. His old tweet from 2019 talked about how he felt inadequate being an Italian guy who lived in New York. He also expressed his emotions as a white guy who has a story that cannot be told by skin colour. After the controversial tweet created an online stir, Marc deleted the post.

Marc D’Amelio was born on November 1, 1968, in New York City, United States. He married Heidi on 13 May 2000. The couple has two daughters named Charli and Dixie. Shortly after his daughters became viral on social media platforms, Marc entered the world of TikTok and gained an ever-growing fan base. He is known as the "D'Amelio Family CEO” and the “Dad of TikTok”. Both Marc and Heidi are supposed to launch their very own podcast in the recent future. They are also set to have a Hulu reality show of their own in 2021.
