Mariqueen Maandig is a Filipino American singer-songwriter and musician. She is best known as the singer of the musical group How to Destroy Angels as well as the former vocalist of the rock band West Indian Girl. She has released several albums in her career. With How to Destroy Angels, Maandig released the albums titled ‘How to Destroy Angels’, ‘An Omen’ and ‘Welcome Oblivion’. With West Indian Girl, she worked on the albums ‘West Indian Girl’ and ‘4th & Wall’. Maandig has also collaborated with songwriter BAO and served as a guest vocalist on two of his band Ming & Ping's tracks: ‘Chinatown’ from their album ‘The Darkness of Night’ and ‘Mixed Melodies’ from their eponymous album. The Filipino American singer cum musician has also provided backing vocals for the song ‘She's Gone Away’ from the EP ‘Not the Actual Events’.
