Mason Disick Biography

Mason Disick was truly born to fame as his birth, by Beverly Hills doctor Paul Crane, was filmed and aired on television during the final episode of the 4th season of 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians'. He continued to appear on the show and its spin-offs, which have documented every step of his childhood on camera. In 2019, he also made an appearance on the American daytime television variety comedy talk show, ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show.’ He remains a hot topic for the media, which religiously publishes pictures of his every outing with his parents. He also often makes appearances on the social media profiles of his family members.

Mason Dash Disick was born on December 14, 2009, in Los Angeles, California. He is the oldest child of Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick and has a younger sister named Penelope Scotland Disick and a younger brother named Reign Aston Disick, with whom he shares his birthday. He is the grandson of television personality, Kris Jenner, and attorney and businessman, Robert Kardashian. Mason's middle name is actually a nickname of his grandfather Robert, which her mother had also used as the name for her clothing store. He is the nephew of Kim, Khloé, and Rob Kardashian, and is the half-nephew of Kendall and Kylie Jenner. Kim and Kanye West's oldest daughter North West, son Saint West, their newborn second daughter, and Rob and Blac Chyna's daughter Dream Kardashian are his cousins.

Mason, who showed an impressive creative side as a child, attended art classes for some time. His mother sourced private acting and singing tutors to train him for a successful acting career. In November 2015, it was reported that he would be homeschooled so that he can remain on the show 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians'.

His parents had a troubled relationship for years and finally called it quits after he was spotted "partying hard" without Kourtney in June 2015. She nevertheless admires him as a good father and allows him to be with the children as long as he is sober. His mother is now married to the American musician and Blink-182 drummer, Travis Barker. The couple got engaged in October 2021 before making it official in April 2022. 

While Kourtney and Scott share a conflicted past, they have vowed to put their kids first despite their differences. In April 2017, they were photographed together with their children during a family trip to Disneyland. Scott and Mason had also gone on a father-son trip to New York and Miami over Thanksgiving. His father also attended his 8th birthday at the Bowlero Woodland Hills bowling alley on December 15, 2017. In late 2022, Kim Kardashian shared a photo of Mason on his birthday which left the netizens utterly stunned. In the photo, the 13-year-old Mason can be seen standing next to Kim, almost dwarfing his aunt with his grown-up stature.

Mason owns an impressive sneakers collection. In a 2023 TikTok video, his sister rated his grand shoe collection and his Strangelove Dunks received a perfect 10 while his Air Jordan 4 Retros were given an 8 out of 10.

Mason Disick is also the step-grandson of retired Olympic gold medal-winning decathlete Bruce Jenner (who changed his name to Caitlyn Jenner following the gender transition in 2015). In April 2016, his aunt, Khloe Kardashian, revealed in a teaser for the latest episode of her show 'Kocktails with Khloe' that Bruce’s transition to Jenner had made the young boy very uncomfortable. His confusion reportedly made him distant from his grandfather. Among the younger members of the family, he struggled the most when he first met Caitlyn following the transition. The eldest among his cousins, he was probably the only one old enough to understand the significance of the difference, as the other kids appeared to be unaware of the change. However, Caitlyn was not upset by the reaction and handled the situation 'perfectly'. His father, Scott, did not want him to find out about the transition from his friends at school or on television, and let Bruce decide when he wanted to meet his grandchildren.
