Mathilde Pinault Biography

Mathilde Pinault was born in 2001 in France, to François-Henri Pinault and Dorothée Lepère. She grew up along with her older brother, François Pinault, who was born in 1999. Pinault had a difficult childhood as her parents got divorced when she was just three years old. However, she found solace in horse riding and became a rider at the age of five. After having her first riding experience in Le Jardin du Luxembourg, Paris, where she rode a Shetland pony, Pinault fell in love with horse riding. Subsequently, she started riding every weekend and also took part in several competitions. At the age of 10, Pinault started attending pony competitions in France. By the time she turned 12, Pinault had become an expert in show jumping. At the age of 13, she began her show jumping career, competing at international events, such as ‘International Jumping of Bordeaux.’

In 2016, Pinault began practicing at ‘Tendercapital Stables,’ under the tutelage of one of the most popular French riders Edouard Mathé. She also moved from Paris to London in order to compete in England. Pinault, who has experience in competing at events like ‘Longines Masters’ and ‘The Longines Global Champion Tours,’ is currently working towards competing in some of the most known circuits around the world. She aspires to compete in the Olympic Games, and at world-class competitions. Apart from participating in show jumping events, Mathilde Pinault has also modeled for ‘Miasuki.’ In spite of being blessed with model-like looks, Pinault does not want to start a career in modeling as she is content with her show jumping career.

Mathilde Pinault is close to her father, François-Henri Pinault, with whom she often attends fashion shows. She is also close to her stepmother, Salma Hayek, who has appeared in films like ‘Desperado,’ ‘Wild Wild West,’ ‘Dogma,’ and ‘From Dusk till Dawn.’ Pinault loves hanging around with her stepmother. In 2016, she was seen exploring Malibu along with Salma Hayek who often features her stepdaughter on her Instagram page. Being an animal lover, Pinault enjoys visiting Hayek’s ranch in Los Angeles, where Hayek raises horses, parrots, and alpacas.

Pinault also likes hanging around with her half-sister Valentina Paloma Pinault who was born on September 21, 2007, from François-Henri Pinault’s relationship with Salma Hayek. She has another half-sibling named Augustin James Evangelista who was born in October 2006 from François-Henri Pinault's previous relationship with supermodel Linda Evangelista. Mathilde Pinault practices yoga which helps her focus on her breathing. She is active on Instagram, where she posts interesting pictures. She currently lives in London along with her pet dogs, Kenya and Lobo.
