Megan Nicole DeAngelis Bio

After uploading her first video on YouTube, DeAngelis got a lot of positive response and popularity. Initially, she only did it for herself. While she watched other tutorials online, she never actually thought that people would watch hers, which were more a means of getting better at gymnastics. But the more her flips took over that section of YouTube, the more her growing fanbase wanted to learn. She offered a few anecdotes about her life in videos, almost as an aside, like mentioning that she’d just come home from school before she started rolling, making a quick comment on how she looked and more. However, after visiting a friend in Los Angeles and discovering the YouTube community there, she dropped out of college and moved across the country to try and make it as a professional YouTuber. What was once a cheerleader's video diary has become a polished hub of all things girlish: there are life-hack tutorials, decorating ideas, and comedy sketches about what it's like to be a girl. DeAngelis is also signed with the multi-channel network Awesomeness TV, and, like other lifestyle YouTubers before her, she has started designing for an AwesomenessTV clothing line. DeAngelis gets paid through Google AdSense and makes enough money from YouTube to pay her rent and fund her productions. Not just fashion, she has now branched out to DIY videos which have gained immense popularity especially among girls because of how simple the projects are.

What makes Meg DeAngelis tick is that she is very relatable. She is just like any other 20-something girl out there. Her makeup, beauty and DIY tutorials are very easy to follow and can be used by any girl out there. Her tutorials, especially her DIY tricks and tutorials are easy on the pockets and hassle free and can be made with whatever is available at your home. Just like any other young girl, she wants to complete her education and more specifically wants to study either marketing or film. And also, she considers J.K Rowling her “forever queen” !

Meg DeAngelis plans to return to school. She was once interested in business marketing though now she is more inclined towards film studies.

Meg DeAngelis was born in Toronto, Canada. After a few years she moved to Germany with her family and settled down there. More recently she moved to Florida to be a part of the University of Central Florida cheerleading team. However, Megan realized that being a full-time student at UCF and devoting all of her time to cheerleading would mean that she wouldn't be able to continue with her channels. So finally she moved to Los Angeles where she is focusing on doing what she loves. Both her parents are engineers and she also has a twin sister, Ashley. She was dating fellow YouTuber, Alex Aiono who featured in a lot of her videos, but the couple broke up after dating for two months.

She is a former junior gymnastics teacher.
