Career

Melanie Craft took up several odd jobs before launching her career as an author. She has worked as a bartender, a house cleaner and a car driver. She has also tried her hands in a bakery. She was a member of the staff at Deer Valley YMCA Camp, Pennsylvania, USA.

As an author, Craft has penned many novels. In 1998, she published her first novel titled ‘A Hard Hearted Man’, a love story about a less fortunate woman and a wealthy businessman. After this, she came up with her novel ‘Trust Me’. It is a story of a veterinarian who gets herself in deep trouble after an odd millionaire leaves his entire fortune to her. In 2004, the author released ‘Man Trouble’, a novel about a history teacher who also moonlights as a novelist and wants to hide her real identity from the world. This novel is quite popular among the youngsters and has got some decent ratings from readers. Although Craft is moderately popular as a writer, her dream is to become a best-selling author.

Relationship with Larry Ellison

Melanie Craft married Larry Ellison after dating him for several years, on December 18, 2003, at Woodside estate. She was first pursued by him while she was still in a relationship with her first boyfriend. The couple’s wedding ceremony was held in an extremely private location in the presence of their family members and close friends. Ellison’s close friend, Steve Jobs, the co-founder and former CEO of Apple, Inc., was the best man as well as the official wedding photographer. This was Craft’s first marriage while Ellison had been married thrice before. His former wives are Barbara Boothe, Nancy Wheeler Jenkins and Adda Quinn. He is also the father of two kids, David and Megan.

Craft and Ellison frequently travelled around the world, both for personal and professional purposes. They also used to enjoy Japanese breakfasts at home as Ellison loved the Japanese cuisine.
