Melissa Womer is an American actress, producer, and writer. She is known for her acting roles in the motion films ‘Petrocelli’ and ‘Man on the Moon’ as well as for producing the TV programs ‘Real Stories of Donut Men’ and ‘The Yesterday Show with John Kerwin’. Nicknamed the ‘Comedy Store Waitress’, Melissa Womer started her career as a cocktail waitress at a comedy store. Despite not achieving much mainstream success, she has still managed to capture the public’s attention owing to her marriage to Hollywood superstar Jim Carrey. Born in New York City in the USA, she was raised in a dysfunctional family. Her early life was fraught with struggles but despite the challenges, the determined young lady worked hard to build a good life for herself. She went on to attend the University of Kansas before entering Hollywood where she made a name for herself in the comedy scene.
