Meredith Reeves began singing when she was about eight years old because her mother used to force her to sing for the camera so that she could make videos for her own YouTube channel. At ten, she became more interested in rapping, and later began posting short videos of herself rapping on Instagram and YouTube. During her initial days of fame, she once went to meet popular rapper Lavish Perez at a mall during one of his meet and greets in December 2015. He was also aware of her raps, and as she introduced herself as 'Official Mere', he ditched the event midway and they went to the food court together to sit and talk about music. The two would later become best friends and rap together a number of times, which became very popular because of their spontaneity.

Meredith Reeves eventually began posting vlog and challenge videos, primarily with her sister, and with her brother and mother as well. While she began posting on YouTube in mid-2017, she reached 100k subscribers in early 2018, and currently has over 390k subscribers, apart from her 771k followers on Instagram.

Meredith Reeves was born on June 2, 2002 in Rome, Georgia, United States. She has a sister named Alia and a brother named JB. She later moved to Florida along with her family. While her classmates from her old school were okay with her celebrity status, she had difficulties with her new school, and is currently homeschooled under an online course.

In early 2018, Meredith Reeves began dating a boy named Joseph, who often featured on her Instagram posts and YouTube videos. On March 19, 2018, she posted a prank breakup video on her YouTube channel. Later that year, they had a rough patch and were not talking, but apparently got back together by the next year as she posted another video on January 26, 2019 titled 'boyfriend picks my outfit for a week'. They broke up soon after, following which she confirmed it on YouTube, but the video has since been deleted. In May, she confirmed her relationship with singer and rapper Trinidad Cardona via Instagram and YouTube.

Meredith Reeves put up a video on February 28, 2019, titled "why I dropped out of public school", in which she mentioned her bad experiences in the school she had recently transferred to after shifting to a new house. She started out by bringing in her sister Alia to vouch for the fact that most of their fellow students were racist to the extent of behaving like KKK members openly during free hours, sporting MAGA hats. She later revealed further details about how her peers at her new school harassed her for her social media fame and often mocked her for rapping.

It got worse when she stopped talking to a boy from that school for about a month, following which his friends cornered her for cheating him, while she claimed that they never even dated in the first place. Amidst all these, her phone was taken away for a couple of weeks as her grades began to drop.

She reached a snapping point when she got into an argument with a teacher over allegedly cheating during a drawing class. She spoke in a manner that landed her in out of school suspension for days. She was then forced to start over the semester with a new class mid-session. Finally, she was accused of dress code violation on a Friday which, according to her and her mother, was partial and inappropriate. As a result, they talked to her guidance counselor, who suggested that she signs up for an online course, which she did. While she claimed in the video that she wanted to study in school as she wanted to be 'social', she finds online schooling a much better option as she does not have to care about school environment, dress codes, a fixed schedule, and can study at her own pace.
