Mia Swier is an American writer and producer at Fox Networks who also has a successful music career as a vocalist and bassist. She is the fiancée of actor, singer and songwriter, Darren Criss, who played Blaine Anderson on the Fox musical comedy-drama series 'Glee', on which she also worked as a producer. Apart from Fox, she has worked for networks, such as NBC, ABC, USA, and Showtime among others. As a producer and director, she has worked on television shows and films, such as 'Saturday Night Live', 'Dexter', 'Shameless', 'The Twilight Saga', 'The Mindy Project', etc. Swier, who performs as a musician under the stage name, Mia Von Glitz, has been a part of a number of bands including the rock band 'Shoot the Freak', the all-girls band 'Guns ‘n Hoses' which she also formed, and the band 'Mad Moon Riot' which she co-founded. She had co-founded the film production company Effin Media with Dan Bricker in 2009, and in October 2012, established her own production house, Von Glitz Productions.
