Mona Shourie Kapoor was the first wife of Boney Kapoor, a well-known Bollywood film producer. She was the daughter of film producer Sattee Shourie. Her husband is known for producing popular movies, such as ‘Mr. India’, ‘Humara Dil Aapke Paas Hain’, ‘No Entry’, ‘Wanted’ and ‘Tevar.’ As a part of the extensive Hindi film industry, she had served as the CEO of Future Studios, which is the largest indoor shooting studio in Mumbai. She had successfully handled the human resources for ‘Business Aids’ and ‘Machine Exports,’ in which she was a business partner. She was also the production co-coordinator of films such as ‘Sheesha’. Her marriage to Boney Kapoor was a troubled one. Notorious for being a womanizer, her husband married a second time while still being legally wed to Mona Shourie. According to some sources, Boney Kapoor and Mona divorced in 1996. In her later years, she suffered from cancer and passed away on 25 March 2012.
