Career
After completing her graduation, Nancy Juvonen took up a number of odd jobs before finding her way into the entertainment industry. She worked at a dude ranch in Wyoming for some time and then became a private flight attendant. She then went on to work for an artist who was trying to eradicate homelessness.
Her big break came after she worked as an assistant to Clarence 'The Big Man' Clemons, a member of Bruce Springsteen's 'E Street Band'. Eventually, it is her interest in storytelling that led her to a career in Hollywood, following her brother Jim, a writer-producer. In 1993, she met Drew Barrymore on the set of 'Mad Love' via her brother and immediately developed a bond that would result in the small production company, Flower Films, in 1995-96.
Nancy Juvonen was particularly interested in exploring the human nature and depicting characters that lose hope and regain it over the course of the movie, and essentially leave the audience with a feel good experience. She achieved that with the 1999 film ‘Never Been Kissed’ which she and Barrymore co-produced. It is an underdog tale featuring Barrymore in the lead role, which was a critical and commercial success and catapulted them to fame. She started to appear on magazines regularly and amassed a sizeable fan base with her positive vibes.

Personal Life
Nancy Juvonen was born on May 18, 1967, in Marin County near San Francisco, California to William Harwood Juvonen and Pamela Robin Newell. Her father was an aviation industry executive who became a Marine Aviator after completing his studies from Stanford University. She graduated with a degree in Sociology and Cooperative Education from the University of Southern California. She has a brother named Jim Juvonen. Her parents divorced in 1971. Her mother passed away on October 7, 2001 in Mill Valley, California.
Nancy Juvonen met her future husband Jimmy Fallon in 2005 on the sets of the film 'Fever Pitch', which she produced. However, they began dating in May 2007 after her close friend and business-partner, Drew Barrymore, invited Fallon, her co-star in the film 'Fever Pitch', at a birthday party she had organized for Nancy. Fallon, who is eight years younger than her, proposed to her in August that year on the dock of her family home in Wolfeboro on Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire with a Neil Lane designed engagement ring. On December 22, 2007, four months after their engagement, they tied the knot at Necker Island in the Caribbean. The couple struggled for five long years to conceive a child, and tried every difficult fertility treatment before deciding to give birth using a surrogate. Both their daughters – Winnie Rose (2013) and Frances Cole (2014) – were born via gestational surrogacy.
Controversies & Scandals
For a long time, Nancy Juvonen and her husband Jimmy Fallon have courted rumors that they are headed for a divorce due to Fallon's excessive drinking and hard-partying ways. The rumors were fuelled by media reports in 2015 which blamed his drinking habits for a serious accident in which he nearly lost his ring finger. Fallon, who had to go through a surgery to save his finger, has not worn his wedding ring since the accident, which some saw merely as an excuse. However, the two have been seen together at award functions and also spent vacations together with their children, essentially refuting the rumors.
