She is also recognized for playing Sydney Cooke and Karen Taylor on ‘Walker, Texas Ranger’ and ‘The Young and the Restless’ respectively. Career in Music
Nia Peeples started her music career with the performance group named The Young Americans. In 1988, she released the album titled ‘Nothin' But Trouble’ whose single ‘Trouble’ charted at No. 35 on the Billboard Hot 100. After this, she released the album titled ‘Nia Peeples’. The album’s song ‘Street Of Dreams’ became a huge hit. Then in 2007, her album ‘Songs of the Cinema’ came out.

Nia Peeples first acted in the 1981 TV movie ‘A Single Light’ in which she appeared as a deaf girl. She then starred in the drama ‘General Hospital’ in 1983. The same year, she was cast as Nicole Chapman in the series ‘Fame’. After this, she did the flick ‘North Shore’. In 1989, the actress got featured in the film ‘DeepStar Six’ as well as in the TV movie ‘Nasty Boys’. Four years later, she performed in the miniseries ‘Return to Lonesome Dove’.
She played Dr. Elizabeth English in the television film ‘Mr. Stitch’ in 1995. Then after appearing in the TV movies ‘Odd Jobs’ and ‘Tower of Terror’, Peeples played the role of Sydney Cooke in the drama series ‘Walker, Texas Ranger’. In 2002, she did the flick ‘Half Past Dead’. Two years later, she guest-starred in the dramas ‘Andromeda’ and ‘The Division’ respectively.
Then in 2006, the American actress played Susan in the TV movie ‘Alpha Mom’. The following year, she joined the cast of ‘The Young and the Restless’. From 2010 to 2017, she appeared on the hit series ‘Pretty Little Liars’ as Pam Fields. During this time, Peeples also did numerous TV films.
