Nichole Marie Hiltz is an American actress most popular for her role in the long-running drama series ‘In Plain Sight.’ She began her career as an actress in the late 1990s with brief appearances in TV series and movies, such as ‘Dude, Where’s My Car?’, ‘Signs of Life’, and ‘Amazons and Gladiators.’ She became a popular face after appearing in the horror movie ‘May’, which turned out to be her biggest career hit. Despite playing only supporting roles, Hiltz was a constant feature in many TV series, including popular dramas like ‘Desperate Housewives’, ‘The O.C’, ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’, ‘The Shield’, ‘Bones’, and ‘CSI: Crime Scene Investigation’. Hiltz landed leading roles only later in her career. She was first seen as the lead in ‘Good Girls Don’t,’ but the series folded early. Nichole Hiltz began her acting career in 1999 with a brief appearance in the short ‘Sporting Dog.’ In the next year, she had a minor role in the movie ‘Dude, Where’s My Car?’ In 2001, she appeared in the movies ‘Shallow Hal’ and ‘Amazons and Gladiators’ before playing the role of Belinda in the TV series ‘Signs of Life.’ In 2002, she appeared in the movie ‘May’ as Ambrosia and later was seen in supporting roles in the films ‘A Midsummer’s Night’s Rave’ and ‘Austin Powers in Goldmember.’ In the same year, she had guest roles in the popular TV series ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ in the episode titled ‘Seeing Red’ and later in ‘V.I.P.’, where she played the role of Jenna Murphy in the episode ‘Diagnosis Val.’ Towards the end of the year, she appeared in the crime drama thriller ‘The Shield’ as Tulips and was seen in two episodes: ‘Dragonchasers’ and ‘Barnstormers.’ She began 2003 with appearances in the movie ‘Scorched’, ‘Something’s Gotta Give’, and the short ‘Where’s Angelo?’ She continued appearing in popular TV series and was seen as Crystal in ‘The Best Sex Ever’ and later as Gabrielle in ‘The O.C.’ She also played the role of Natasha Rifkin in the popular crime series ‘CSI: Crime Scene Investigation’.
In 2004, Hiltz received a minor breakthrough and her first leading role in the series ‘Good Girls Don’t’ as Lizzie. Her other appearances in the year included the movies ‘Spanglish’, ‘Perfect Opposites’, and ‘Renegade.’ In ‘Cold Case’, she portrayed the role of Doreen Denova in the ‘Disco Inferno’ episode. She also appeared in a guest role in the TV series ‘Human Giant.’ She landed her most popular role in 2008 after being cast as Brandi Shannon in the crime mystery ‘In Plain Sight,’ directed by David Maples. She starred alongside Mary McCormack, Frederick Weller, and Paul Ben-Victor in the popular series. She played this role for fifty episodes from 2008 to 2012. Her other appearances in 2008 include the Steven Goldmann horror ‘Trailer Park of Terror’, a guest role in the comedy romance ‘Wainy Days’, and a recurring role as Roxie Lyon in the crime series ‘Bones.’ Her appearances dwindled in the 2010s.
