Nick Hexum is an American singer, rapper, and songwriter currently working as the guitarist and vocalist for the rock band 311 as well as The Nick Hexum Quintet. He has contributed to several albums and song tracks till date, both with his bands, and as a solo artist. With 311, Hexum has released several singles and albums, such as ‘Dammit’, ‘Hydroponic’, ‘Unity’, ‘Grassroots’, ‘Soundsystem’, ‘Transistor’, ‘Don't Tread on Me’, ‘Universal Pulse’, ‘Stereolithic’ and ‘Mosaic’, to name a few. With The Nick Hexum Quintet, the singer has worked on the album ‘My Shadow Pages’. Besides these, he has made guest appearances in the albums of many famous artistes. Hexum, who is philanthropic in nature, has created a non-profit organization ‘Liberal Hexum’ that focuses on environmental issues.
