Nicole ‘Hoopz’ Alexander is an American television personality, actress, and entrepreneur. She is best known for winning VH1's reality television shows ‘I Love Money’ and ‘Flavor of Love.’ After winning ‘I Love Money,’ which was aired on ‘VH1’ in 2008, Alexander received a cash prize of $250,000. Her popularity increased after winning the reality shows, leading to subsequent appearances in films, such as ‘Ghetto Stories,’ ‘Basketball Girlfriend,’ and ‘First Lady.’ In 2015, she came up with a TV show titled ‘It Takes a Sister,’ which she produced. The show follows the lives of Alexander and her four younger sisters. Alexander is also an entrepreneur as she launched a champagne and wine collection called ‘Nicole Alexander Wines & Champagne.’ She also launched an interactive game app called ‘Survival of the Fittest’ for iOS and Android phones. Nicole Deannae Alexander was born on July 12, 1982 in Detroit, Michigan, USA. She is of mixed ethnicity as her mother is an Italian-American, while her father is an African-American. She was raised in Michigan, along with her four younger sisters – Kortnee, Jenni, Meagan, and Erika.
She went to ‘Woodhaven High School’ which is located within the ‘Woodhaven-Brownstown School District.’ Alexander represented her school basketball team and exhibited interest in various other sports while attending high school.

Career
Nicole Alexander started her career as a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) agent at ‘Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport.’ In 2006, she landed an opportunity to take part in the first season of reality television series ‘Flavor of Love.’ At the end of the show, Alexander, who was nicknamed Hoopz, was declared winner.
She made her film debut in 2006 when she played a minor role in Mekhi Phifer-directed comedy film ‘Puff, Puff, Pass.’ In 2008, she participated in the first season of ‘I Love Money’ which premiered on July 6, 2008. After competing in a series of physical and mental challenges, Alexander won the reality show and the coveted cash prize of $250,000. She would later say that the show changed her life forever and that she used the cash prize to invest and travel.
Alexander’s popularity increased in 2010 when she was cast to play Kayla in John McDougall-directed drama film ‘Ghetto Stories.’ In the same year, she was also seen playing the role of a reporter in a short film titled ‘Convicted.’
In 2014, she played Collette in Jean-Claude La Marre-directed drama film ‘Basketball Girlfriend.’ The following year, she came up with her own TV show ‘It Takes a Sister,’ which featured her sisters, nieces, nephews, and pet dogs. When the show ended, Alexander started working on a paranormal activity show, visiting haunted places in and around Tennessee.
In 2018, she was cast to play Donyale Thomas in Mann Robinson-directed drama film ‘Turnt.’ In the same year, she played the lead role of Maria in Dennis L. Reed II-directed action-drama film ‘First Lady.’ In 2019, she was cast to reprise the role as Maria in the film’s sequel ‘First Lady II Maria's Revenge.’ In 2019, she was also cast to portray Nikki in a drama film titled ‘King Dog.’
