Nicholas began his journey as a YouTuber by starting his channel ‘NicsterV’ on October 24, 2011. He started off with Minecraft videos but later started uploading several tutorials and commentary videos on other games as well. After Minecraft started going out of trend, he switched full-time to Roblox. That’s when his channel started picking up fast.

With time, he shot to fame with his Roblox content and many of his posts received over a million views in no time. These include: ‘I Tried Getting a Free Destruction Simulator Black Hole Pack (Roblox)’ and ‘Kid thinks he got a free roblox dominus’. His commentary videos also get overwhelming response.

The YouTuber created his second channel, ‘MrTop5,’ on July 15, 2016. On this channel, he primarily uploads content related to Fortnite. NicsterV claims that both of his channels are family-friendly and are suitable for people of all age groups.

Controversies & Scandals

NicsterV has stirred a number of controversies regarding his channel and the content he uploads. Several times, the community has pointed out that he uses clickbait titles that are misleading. These titles trick the viewers into thinking that the platform of Roblox might be undergoing some major changes when it is not so. One of his video titles once scared the viewers into thinking that Roblox is being shut down. YouTuber ‘Random Gn0m3’ has tweeted that NicsterV is “wasting people's time”, “faking his videos” or “trolling in his videos”. NicsterV has also been criticized for making 'Free Robux' videos. He received mass hatred for it.

YouTuber Legobloxian also attacked NicsterV on Twitter by accusing him of using ideas from his videos to gain popularity. In addition, Legobloxian pointed out that NicsterV had earned about $1.5K just for reacting to his videos. He stated that most of NicsterV’s videos are based on reacting to others’ videos. Following this criticism, NicsterV deleted three of his videos that were based on Legobloxian’s videos. Lego also mentioned that he will not make any more videos in collaboration with NicsterV.
