Nikita forayed into the social-media arena through ‘YouTube.’ Her first ‘YouTube’ channel was launched in October 2011, and the channel has only four videos on it. The first video on the channel was posted in January 2013, and it was a cover version of Justin Bieber's song 'Beauty and A Beat.' The Kusuma sisters mentioned in the video's description that they had shot it out of their boredom. Following this, they posted a cover version of the song 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' by Taylor Swift. Before Nikita appeared on her first ‘YouTube’ channel, she had been featured in a few videos on her joint channel with her sister, Futari, which was created on May 28, 2011. The channel had a travel vlog of their trip to Hong Kong in 2015. Nikita's first tutorial video is available on her first self-titled channel. Her second attempt at creating beauty content was for Futari's channel. Nikita made a tutorial video to achieve the “smokey eye” look. Unfortunately, Nikita is no more active on her first channel, as she now creates content for her second channel.

Nikita launched her second self-titled channel, ‘Nikita Kusuma Official,’ on August 16, 2016. The channel is totally dedicated to beauty and skincare. Nikita's Singapore trip vlog is also available on the channel. She featured her sister and boyfriend in a couple of videos on the channel. The channel is still in its growing stage and has managed to earn around 14 thousand subscribers only to date. Nikita is relatively more popular on ‘Instagram,’ where she posts her looks and displays her classy sense of fashion. Nikita's jaw-dropping pictures on the platform have earned her more than 391 thousand followers. She owns two back-up ‘Instagram’ pages under the names 'nikissxx' and 'nikita.id.' Unfortunately, Nikita does not have a similar fan base on ‘Twitter.’

Nikita Kusuma was born on December 16, 1996, in Medan, the capital of North Sumatra, Indonesia, to Indonesian–Chinese parents. She is 3 years older to her sister, Futari.
