Nikki Baker Bio

Nikki Baker and John were high school sweethearts. They were together for more than a decade. Their first video, posted way back in October 2009, basically foretold the absolute madness that was going to come. It had a 20-year-old Nikki drinking an entire bottle of hot sauce in order to persuade her then-boyfriend to take her out for dinner, which, as it was revealed, he would have done anyway. Since then, she has smashed his Xbox, shaved half of his head, and superglued him to a toilet seat. In return, he has smashed her laptop, dyed her hair purple, and put itching powder in her lotion. In May 2010, they launched their vlogging channel NikkiandJohnVLOG, which also features entertaining challenges, family history, and travel accounts.

Nikki Baker started yet another channel in February 2011, Your Favorite Nikki, where she posts make-up tutorials, comedy sketches, and story-time videos. If that is not enough, they have four more channels, three dedicated to John’s gaming, fishing, and cooking, and one to their pets. Nikki’s fame on YouTube has seeped into other social media platforms as well. While their main channel, Pranksters in Love has 1.63 million subscribers, the vlog and her tutorial channels have 501k, and 86.7k subscribers respectively. She also has 44.7k followers on Instagram and 19k followers on Twitter. Their Facebook page is active and buzzing with traffic. Clearly, this pair of mischief-makers is thriving! They appeared together on the famous MTV show Pranked, which had a whole segment devoted to them.

When Nikki Baker met John for the very first time, he shook a can of beer in front of her, and cracked it open, spraying foam all over her face, and she kicked him below the belt for sweet revenge. This was the pattern throughout their relationship, even before they started posting videos. Even when he proposed, he didn’t forget to dump a bucketful of green slime on her head beforehand! The ex-couple connected with each other in such crazy yet unique ways! As Nikki Baker herself puts it, “It’s amazing, really, you never feel resentment if you are always getting even.”

Born on June 6, 1988, to William Baker and Dorothe Ischler, Nikki Baker  spent her early years in the city of Minneapolis, Minnesota. She has two younger siblings, Danica and Andre. She is of Norwegian, Swedish, Polish, Irish, German, and English descent. Nikki Baker and John’s lives changed forever when their daughter Iris was born in October 2014. They took to their parental responsibilities with such grace and natural ease that their fans couldn’t help but be proud. Unfortunately, Nikki Baker and John decided to part ways in 2019.
