Nil Sani Bio

Long before making her own YouTube channel, Nil Sani started appearing in videos on her older sister Hailey’s channels. The two had initially created a show called iSisters, inspired by the sitcom iCarly. In April 2013, 10-year-old Nil appeared on the video Bath and Body Works Collection!, the first video on her sister’s YouTube channel berrypinklips, which was later renamed to Hailey Sani. She also often appeared on Hailey’s vlog channel haileysluyf, even though it was abandoned after a couple years. Nil finally created her own YouTube channel on October 25, 2015, and on the same day, uploaded her first video titled FIRST VIDEO! MOVING TO LA VLOG SERIES. In the video, she documented her family moving from Turkey to Los Angeles, California.

Shortly after starting her channel, Nil Sany accompanied her sister, then a popular YouTuber, to her first social media event for BALM's IPSY in January 2016. Since then, she has regularly uploaded videos about shopping hauls, fashion, beauty, makeup, vlogs, travel videos and more on her channel. She has also continued to appear on her sister’s channels, including her Turkish language channel Hailey Eylül Sani. Nil Sani has 480K subscribers on YouTube, 350K followers on Instagram and 180K fans on TikTok.

In December 2018, Nil Sani and her sister teamed up to launch their jewelry brand Soleil, which they mentioned took over nine months to put together. The brand, which they described as “Attainable luxury dripping in gold”, consisted of one set of items from each sister including necklace, earring, choker, ring and pendant. They put up the website, soleilbysani.com, for the brand and also made an Instagram profile for it. However, the website is no more active and the last post on the brand’s Instagram was from over two years ago.

On October 5, 2019, Nil Sani uploaded the video “a day in high school as a junior!!” in which she vlogged about the day of the homecoming football match at Beverly Hills High School and shared clips from various other activities during the event. However, the video was quickly flooded with sad comments from her Turkish viewers who lamented the condition of education in their own country compared to that in America. Several female viewers also recounted how restrictive their school experience was. Some, however, noted that the famous school Nil was attending was not affordable even for many Americans. Later, a Turkish publication reported that Nil had closed access to the video from Turkey, presumably to avoid the kind of reaction it was getting.

Nil Sani was born on March 19, 2003 in Turkey. Her mother’s name is Melike Sani and her father’s name is Cengiz Sani. She is the younger of two daughters of her parents and has a sister named Hailey, who is two-and-a-half years older than her and is also a social media star. Her parents ran a restaurant near a tourist beach, where the family lived, but they shifted to the city at the time of her birth.

She was still a child when her family relocated to Dubai so that the sisters could attend English schools for better opportunities. From there, they moved to the United States and settled in Miami, Florida when she was still in elementary school. About four years later, the family moved back to Turkey, only to return to the USA in 2015, when she was 12 years old. This time they settled in Los Angeles, California, where both the sisters attended Beverly Hills High School.

Her parents entered real estate business and flipped houses after moving to America. In early 2021, Nil Sani announced being accepted into her dream university, the New York University. Later that year, she moved into an apartment in New York City and started pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Communication and Media Studies. In a prior video, both she and her sister had revealed that she gives education the topmost priority.
