Panio Gianopoulos is a Greek-American author. His stories, essays and poetries have appeared in various magazines and newspapers including ‘Details’, ‘Glamour’, ‘Tin House’, ‘Nerve’, ‘Salon’, ‘The Hartford Courant’, ‘The Journal News’, ‘Northwest Review’, ‘The Rattling Wall’, ‘The Brooklyn Rail’ and ‘The Los Angeles Review of Books’. A former editor of Bloomsbury, Panio has also appeared in a few documentaries, films and series like ‘Author: The JT LeRoy Story’, ‘The Cult of JT LeRoy’ and ‘The Secret Life of the American Teenager’. He is also a trained martial artist and an occasional runner who likes to keep himself nice and fit. Panio Gianopoulos is the author of the famous book, ‘How to Get into Our House and Where We Keep the Money’ and the novella, ‘A Familiar Beast’, which is one of Amazon’s best books and an indie best seller. Panio is the recipient of the New York Foundation for the Arts Fellowship. At present, he is serving as the Editorial Director of the publishing house, Heleo.
