Parker Coppins was born on March 12, 1995, in Harlingen, Texas, United States. According to Parker, he grew up in a ‘hot and humid’ south Texas, where he attended ‘Calvary Christian School.’ He was raised by his parents, Mark, and Darla Coppins.

A local physician named Dr. Leibert was his mentor and inspiration during his school days. Parker would often participate in plays with him and that is how he developed a liking towards acting and entertainment. He then attended Harlingen High School.

He created his YouTube channel in 2013 and started uploading game-related content. Because he had the ability to turn even an ordinary content into a good one, he quickly started getting subscribers. Gradually, his fan base started to grow and Parker began gaining prominence as a social media star.

Career

Parker was no stranger to facing the camera as he had appeared in a couple of shorts even before creating his YouTube channel. After appearing as Kyle Duncan in a video titled ‘Born Bad,’ Parker played a minor role in a short film titled ‘Flirting and Dating for Dummies’ in 2011. In 2013, he appeared in another short film titled ‘Penny Arcade.’

In the same year, he embarked on his social media career as he started posting videos online. In 2014, he got an opportunity to play Paul Wilson in the crime horror mystery, ‘The Black Tape.’ The film released in November 2015, marking Parker’s big screen debut.

Meanwhile, his social media career was on upswing and he joined Twitter and Instagram as well. His YouTube channel too, was heading towards the right direction as the number of subscribers was always on the rise. With over 85 million views and more than 480,000 subscribers, Parker’s YouTube channel is currently one of the most loved channels in the US.

In 2016, he was roped in for the popular TV series ‘Adventure Room,’ in which he played his part under his stage name, ParkerGames. In 2017, he was presented with an opportunity to host a show called ‘Parker Plays,’ which was to be aired on Disney XD. Being a prominent part of a television series increased his popularity, which he used to gather subscribers and followers on his social media pages.

In 2017, he was seen in a short television series titled ‘Sugar Pine 7.’ He appeared in 64 episodes throughout 2017 and continued playing his part till 2018. In the same year, he was cast in a television series titled ‘Lifestyle Classic.’

Personal Life & Family

Parker moved to Los Angeles, California, in 2015. He visits his hometown once in a while to see his parents. While his father is a pastor, his mother works for ‘Salazar Insurance Group.’ He has two older sisters: Caitlin and Ashley. He has featured his sisters as well as his mother in some of his Instagram posts. He is close to his niece Camdyn, who is Ashley’s daughter.

He loves playing video games, so much so that he ended up turning his passion into a profession. He is a good friend of fellow social media star, Shelby. In fact, he has featured her in some of his posts on Twitter and Instagram.
