Raphael Gomes was born on June 23, 1992 in Portugal. He later relocated to London. He has one sister named Joana. He is currently dating fellow vlogger Vania Fernandes. She is a beauty and lifestyle vlogger who sometimes features on his channel.

Gomes is good friends with the half-sister of pop singer Louis Tomlinson, Felicite Tomlinson. Also, he is on friendly terms with British YouTuber Craig Dillon.

Gomes is color blind and when someone enquires about his favorite colors, he always says black or yellow because those are among the only colors he can see and identify. In 2013, he won the title of YouTube's Next Vlogger.
