Reed Deming Biography

Reed Deming is one of the iconic figures of the American pop music industry. At 17, the musician has everything going for him. With no background whatsoever in music, his mother being a marketing professional and his father a builder, Deming followed his heart and passion and emerged as a super star in the field. Though Deming started his journey at the age of eleven, it was only in 2012 that he struck bull’s eye with the season 2 of the talent show, ‘The X Factor’. Not only did he make it to the Top 24 list but was also in the Top 6 in the Teens Category on Britney Spear's team in the show. This was, however, the start of the big things that Deming was destined to be entitled for. After his phenomenal success at the show and his performance at the Big D NYE 2013 New Year's Extravaganza in Dallas, TX with Forever The Sickest Kids (Universal/Fearless Records) to a crowd of 35,000 people, Deming got Things rolling for himself. 2013 marked the release of his first 6 song EP called ‘Ridiculous’ via iTunes. After a string of tours and events, he ended the year with yet another bang, performing to 100K spectators at Celebrate San Antonio's New Year Eve Bash. He was joined on stage by Grammy Award winning guitarist Chris Perez (Selena). In 2014, Deming released his EP, ‘Satellites’ which charted the #9 on iTunes and soon followed it up with ‘Sunny’ in 2015 which gained the #11 spot.

That fact that American rapper and singer William Adams calls Reed Deming ‘An Emperor Kid’ is fact enough to make him special. Often called the whiz kid of music, Deming has an inherent talent for music that is visible in his high-voltage performances and larger-than-life on-stage persona. At 17, Deming is already counted amongst the world’s greatest artists including Gavin DeGraw, One Republic, Andy Grammer and Coldplay. He has a musical maturity that is greater than his age and a versatility that is unique and distinctive. Interestingly despite having no background whatsoever, Deming’s music connects with the audience on a deeper level. What’s more, his versatility not just extends to his music but musical instruments as well, as he efficiently plays guitar, bass, keyboards, saxophone, djembe and ukulele.

Barely five year old into the music industry, Reed Deming is already counted as a veteran, thanks to his inherent musical skills and talent. but there is more to this talented musician than just his music skills. A pop artist and a music aficionado, Reed Deming has put more feathers to his cap with his acting skills. To establish himself as an actor, Deming signed with legendary theatrical agent Mitchell Gossett of CESD Talent Agency. Gossett, who has represented and developed many noteworthy actors including Miley Cyrus, Taylor Lautner, Katherine McPhee and Jesse McCartney, has been polishing Deming’s acting skills as well. In 2014, Deming bagged his major project as he was cast as a series regular on a Disney Channel pilot. Today, he is a cult teen sensation who has meticulously crafted a career for himself as a musician and actor.

Reed Deming was born on February 6, 1999 in Maryland, Columbia to Jane and Mitch Deming. While his father is a home builder, his mother works as a marketing professional. He has a younger brother, Blake. Just before turning one, the family shifted to San Antonio, Texas where Deming spent much of his growing up years.
