Roc Royal Biography

Roc Royal first became popular for being one of the members of the boy band ‘Mindless Behavior’; the other members of the band included Prodigy, Rayan Lopez and Jacob Perez. The band was formed in 2008 and very soon caught the attention of music lovers. The band released albums like ‘#1 Girl’ and ‘All Around The World’, which received a lot of critical acclaim and songs from the albums also went on to become chartbusters. Roc Royal is best recognized for his contribution to the R&B single ‘Mrs. Right’, released by ‘Mindless Behavior’ in 2011. His association with the band helped Roc Royal gain a lot of visibility. In 2014, Roc Royal was kicked out of the band after it was found that he was involved in a car theft. Thereafter, Roc Royal started working as an independently and in 2015, he came up with his single, ‘Amazing’, which became a big hit.

Roc Royal hit rock bottom had a few run ins with the law, as result of which, he was kicked out from the band ‘Mindless Behavior’. Roc Royal was also involved in robbing a plush BMW 325i in 2014, which belonged to record producer Chris Clark. The same year a video surfaced, which showed him beating up a drug addict. According to Chris Clark, he had left his car keys at a studio where Roc Royal was on that fateful day. When he was about to leave, the record producer found both his car keys and Roc Royal missing, much to his shock, leading to suspicion that the latter was responsible. In 2016, he was sentenced to imprisonment for 2 years for his involvement in robbery.

Roc Royal was born Chresanto August on July 23, 1997 in Los Angeles, California, to Cindy and Jonathan August. He was in a relationship with Desiree Dezhaee and became father at the age of 16, when Desiree gave birth to a son.
