Rose Ellen Dix is a British YouTube star, comedian, entertainer, and social media personality. She runs the popular ‘Rose and Rosie’ YouTube channel with her wife Roseanne Elizabeth "Rosie" Spaughton. A native of the county of Herefordshire, Rose set up her self-titled channel in June 2010 for a university class. In September, she uploaded the first video. After getting an assignment of making a viral video for her film class, she uploaded a parody of Kesha's ‘Tik Tok’ in January 2011, and it garnered over 16,000 views in five days. Rosie made her first appearance on the channel in a video titled ‘Baffle Laffle Taffle Breakup’ in December 2011. Their first collaboration was posted in January 2012. In 2014, Rose left her job at an Apple Store in Worcester to be a full-time YouTuber. At some point, after Rosie became fully involved with the channel, they changed its name to what it is today. Most of their videos feature a type of content called “couch comedy”. They also make challenge, tag, guide, and gaming videos. The couple has two other channels, one for vlogging, ‘Rose and Rosie Vlogs,’ and another for gaming content, ‘Let’s Play Games.’

Rose originally set up her self-titled channel on June 20, 2010, for a university class. She posted the first video, titled ‘Rose Dix talks Lisa Scinta’, on 30 September. While she was pursuing a film degree at Hereford College of Arts, she was given an assignment of making a viral video. This prompted her to create a parody of Kesha's video ‘Tik Tok’ and share it on her channel. The video drew more than 16,000 views in five days.

Rosie became active on YouTube in November 2011, when she launched her channel, ‘TheRoxetera.’ She made her debut on Rose’s channel on December 18, 2011, in a video titled ‘Baffle Laffle Taffle Breakup’. Their first collaboration was posted on Rose’s channel on January 15, 2012.
In 2014, Rose resigned from her job at Apple Store in Worcester to become a full-time YouTuber. At some point, she changed her channel’s name from ‘Rose Elen Dix’ to ‘Rose and Rosie.’ Rosie’s personal channel’s name was also changed after they decided that they would put out their vlogging content there.
