Rubee ventured into the social-media arena through 'TikTok,' which was called 'musical.ly' then. By the age of 18, she had already earned a considerable fan base on the platform. Rubee primarily uploads lip-sync and dance videos on popular tracks. She once used the song 'Twerkoholic,' originally sung by B.Smyth, in one of her 'TikTok' videos. Over time, Rubee earned fame on the platform, and by the beginning of 2019, she has earned over a million followers and over 10 million heart emojis. Currently, Rubee has more than 23 million “hearts” on 'TikTok.' In an attempt to take her 'TikTok' fame to the next level, she tried experimenting with vlogging. Rubee posted her first video on her self-titled 'YouTube' channel on March 31, 2019. However, the channel was created back in August 2017. Rubee's debut 'YouTube' video was 'telling my hispanic grandparents im pregnant.' To date, she has published only five videos on the channel, among which there is a hair-coloring tutorial. Rubee usually sports dramatic eye makeup in her videos, which displays her excellence in the art of applying makeup. However, it is not known if she plans to create primarily beauty-related content for her channel. Although her fan base on 'YouTube' is nowhere close to what she has on 'TiKTok,' she has earned over 140 thousand subscribers on the platform in just a few months. Rubee is also quite active on 'Instagram,' where her posts have earned her close to 60 thousand followers. She has a back-up ‘Instagram’ account named 'btrflywngs.'

Rubee was born on November 27, 1999, in Chicago, Illinois. She is of African–American and Mexican ethnicity. After living in Chicago for a while, Rubee and her family moved to Phoenix, Arizona. She has been raised alongside her three younger and two older siblings.
