Salish Matter Salish Matter hogged the limelight after she started to appear on Jordan Matter's Youtube channel. Among her early appearances, she was featured in the 2018 video titled “My Daughter Takes the 10 Minute Photo Challenge in a Public Library (with Elliana Walmsley).” She is now one of the prominent members of the channel and has starred in numerous videos including “Sofie Dossi Teaches My Daughter Contortion,” “My Daughter's First Day Of Middle School,” “Kid Vs Adult - Extreme Acro Gymnastics Competition,” “Dance Moms Lilly K Teaches My Daughter Ballet (adorable),” and “My Daughter Quits YouTube (Official Music Video) ft/ Piper Rockelle.”

She has also appeared on her brother’s YouTube channel, Hudson Matter, and has been featured in videos like “BROTHER vs SISTER Strength Challenge,” “My CRUSH vs My SISTER Epic Photo Dares,” and “Filling My Sister's Room With Photos Of Her Crush!” The videos have garnered millions of views and are among the most-watched on the channel.

Salish is also popular on social media in her own right and has wowed hundreds of thousands of followers on Instagram with her elegantly stylish clicks and dance reels. She was the cover girl of her father’s book Born To Dance – Celebrating the Wonder of Childhood. Above all, she is also a level-six gymnast. In 2022, she secured a medal at the USA Gymnastics’ regional championship.

Salish Matter was born on November 29, 2009, in Nyack, New York, United States, to Jordan Matter and Lauren Boyer. Her father, Jordan, is a famous photographer and also the author of the New York Times bestselling book, Dancers Among Us, and another best seller Born To Dance – Celebrating the Wonder of Childhood. Her mother Lauren is a veterinarian. She also has a brother named Hudson Matter who is an Instagram star as well as a photographer himself. She is the granddaughter of the successful film director Alex Matter and famous model Paula Feiten as well as the great-granddaughter of hugely successful photographer Herbert Matter.

She is in middle school and resides in Los Angeles. She has a pet dog by the name of Boomer. Also, she is a vegetarian much like her mother. She is good friends with Youtube star Nidal Wonder and has often appeared on his channel. According to her, she and Nidal share the same level of energy which makes them quite compatible. She also learned a few flips from her best friend.

Salish loves going shopping with her mother. She also enjoys trying different food with her as both of them are vegetarian. They also did roller skating before Lauren broke her ankle in the act.
