After being inspired from the journey of popular influencers like Casey Neistat and Jay Alvarrez, Sam Hurley also decided to follow a similar path. He has been active on various social media platforms since 2015. He became a user of the popular app musical.ly even before it merged with TikTok. At that time, he was not very active on the short-form video app and had only about 2000 fans. Following the app’s merger with TikTok, he returned to the platform on October 12, 2018. It was actually after Jay Alvarrez asked his fans to join the app that Sam decided to revive his account. He liked what other people were posting on the platform and soon published a funny TikTok video himself. To his surprise, his followers count increased by thousands within a short span of time.

Sam Hurley was born on September 1, 2003 in Texas, United States. His family later moved to Arkansas, where he currently lives. He lives with his mother Kristy Hurley and two brothers, Hootie and Turner. His brother Hootie runs track and field at the ‘Oklahoma State University’. Sam was also an athletic child growing up, who played baseball, basketball and participated in track and field events. He has posted several pictures from those events on his Instagram feed. His dream is to become a successful social media influencer so that he can live in Los Angeles someday.
