Sarah Brown was born to David Brown and Pamela Brown in Eureka, California. Brought up in an eclectic environment, she and her three siblings lived in various places throughout California.

Her parents were Christians and they showed remarkable faith in the Bible and she was raised with Christian beliefs from a very young age.

She developed astounding interest for music in the earlier years of her life; however, as she grew up she found her new interest in acting.

She admits to have received the best education ever - she attended thirteen various schools before she graduated from high school! She graduated from Santa Montana College in Santa Monica, California.

Career

At the age of nineteen, while still at college, she was offered the role of Kaitlin Star for the action-adventure TV series, ‘V.R. Troopers’ which was a popular children’s show.

In 1996, she made a guest-appearance in 3 episodes of Power Rangers Zeo, where she played Heather Thompson.

The year 1996 was a defining period in Sarah’s career when she emerged as a prominent acting figure with the role of Carly Benson Corinthos in the drama, ‘General Hospital’.

She left the ‘General Hospital’ series in 2001 and guest-starred in many other leading series including Strong Medicine, As the World Turns, Days of Our Lives, Without a Trace, Bold and the Beautiful, and Crossing Jordan.

From 2004 to 2005, she appeared in about 109 episodes of ‘As the World Turns’, playing the role of Julia Larrabee.

In 2006, Brown starred in her first ever feature film, ‘Big Momma’s House 2’ which was a comedy hit at the time.

Later, from 2006 to 2008, she made appearances in few other shows like The Closer, Monk, Police Drama K-Ville after which she accepted the role of Claudia Zacchara, making a comeback to ‘General Hospital’ in 2008.
