Sarah Gilman Biography

Sarah Gilman realized her love for the performance arts when she was just a little girl. Her parents recognized her talents and encouraged her to develop her acting skills. Confident, pretty, and blessed with an inherent talent for acting, young Sarah soon found herself on the stage, playing small roles in theatrical productions. With time, as she evolved as an actress, she was offered major roles in musicals and plays, such as ‘You're a Good Man,’ ‘Charlie Brown,’ and ‘Alice.’ She soon ventured into the world of television and appeared in minor/guest roles in several series including, ‘Up All Night’ and ‘Marvin Marvin.’ In 2013, she was offered the main role of Delia Delfano in the Disney teen sitcom ‘I Didn't Do It.’ Being offered a role in a Disney production was a dream come true for the young actress and she gave the role her best. Her efforts were much appreciated and she earned a lot of praise for her portrayal of the quirky, loud-mouthed, and eccentric Delia. This role catapulted Sarah Gilman to international limelight and cemented her position as a well-known young star in Hollywood. In addition to her TV career, she has also appeared in a few short movies.

Sarah Gilman was born on January 18, 1996 in Los Angeles, California, U.S. She developed an early interest in acting and was encouraged by her parents to follow her passion. She went to the Flintridge Preparatory School where she graduated with honors; she also achieved the Advanced Placement Scholar designation. A versatile personality, she was also good in athletics and played a number of school sports including volleyball, water polo, basketball, softball and soccer. She graduated from high school in 2014 and enrolled at the University of Southern California to study film production, screenwriting, and theatre. On the romantic front, it is often speculated that she is dating fellow Disney star, Bradley Steven Perry, though she neither confirms this nor declines. She is very close to her parents and revealed in an interview that she wouldn't date a guy her parents didn't like because she trusts her parents’ judgment and knows that her parents would only approve of guys truly worthy of their daughter. She is a big-time animal lover and has several pets at home, including two pugs, four cats, two turtles and a parakeet.
