Sat Hari Khalsa was born in the United States of America. She was, however, sent to a boarding school in India, at a very young age. Hence, she spent her childhood in India and got acquainted to some of the Indian customs. During her stay in India, Khalsa learnt about precious gems and the ancient symbolism associated with jewelry making. Khalsa was fascinated by the idea of making jewelry in accordance with certain rules of ancient symbolism. She would often visit the local astrologers and gem dealers to know more about symbolism and the benefits of wearing specific stones for different occasions. Along with learning about symbolism, Khalsa also practiced holistic healing, which is a form of healing the physical aspects of humans by creating a balance between their physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects. Though she is yet to confirm the details of the band, it is rumored that the band might have been ‘Red Hot Chili Peppers,’ which has had amazing rock stars over the years. Khalsa likes traveling to India as she spends most of her holidays in India. On May 10, 2015, the official Instagram page of Khalsa’s jewelry company posted a photograph of Khalsa spending quality time with her daughter Amrit at the ‘Golden Temple’ in Punjab, India. Khalsa currently stays in Los Angeles, United States along with her daughter Amrit.
