Satyadeep Mishra is an Indian actor known for his work in television shows and Bollywood films. He was born in Delhi, India and studied at St Stephen’s College. He began his acting career with a significant role in the film ‘No One Killed Jessica’. Based on the infamous Jessica Lal murder case, the film was a commercial success. Its reviews were mostly positive as well. Other works in his career include the sports drama film ‘Ferrari ki Sawaari’, where he played the role of a cricket coach. He had a role in the psychological thriller film ‘Phobia’, which despite receiving positive reviews was a commercial disappointment. Mishra also earned acclaim for his work in the TV series ‘P.O.W. - Bandi Yuddh Ke’. He portrayed Squadron Leader Imaan Khan in the series. The show aired from November 2016 to March 2017, for just a single season.

Career
Satyadeep Mishra began his career initially as an officer in the Indian Revenue Service. However, he resigned within months and began an acting career. His first work on the big screen was a role in the 2011 biographical film ‘No One Killed Jessica’. The film starred Rani Mukherjee and Vidya Balan in the lead roles. It was nominated for four Filmfare Awards, including the Best Film Award. The film was a commercial and critical success. The same year, he was seen in three other films: ‘Turning 30’, ‘Love Breakups Zindagi’ and ‘Chillar Party’.
In 2012, he was seen in the role of a cricket coach in the sports drama film ‘Ferrari ki Sawaari’. The film starred actors, such as Sharman Joshi, Boman Irani and Paresh Rawal, and was directed by Rajesh Mapuskar. The film received positive reviews from critics and was also a commercial success.
In 2014, he was seen in the film ‘Tigers’, which was directed by Danis Tanovic. The film featured Emraan Hashmi in the lead role, in the role of a pharmaceutical salesman in Pakistan. He discovers that his company’s baby formula has killed hundreds of children, after which he begins a lone and dangerous battle against the company.
He was then seen in the thriller film ‘Bombay Velvet’ (2015), which was directed by Anurag Kashyap. The film starred Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma in the lead roles. It turned out to be a financial disaster at the box office.
In 2016, he played an important role in the psychological thriller film ‘Phobia’. Directed by Pavan Kirpalani, the film starred Radhika Apte in the lead role. The film was appreciated by critics. From 2016 to 2017, he was seen in the TV series ‘P.O.W. - Bandi Yuddh Ke’, playing the role of Squadron Leader Imaan Khan.

Family & Personal Life
Though not much is known about Satyadeep Mishra’s childhood and parents, he is known to have studied at the Doon School in Dehradun. Later, he studied at St Stephens College, Delhi.
In 2009, he married actress Aditi Rao Hydari, who has acted in Tamil and Hindi movies. The couple separated in 2013.
