Scotty Cranmer is an American bicycle motocross (BMX) rider who shares the record with Dave Mirra for winning the most number of BMX Park medals at X Games. Winning three each in gold, silver and bronze, Scotty has an impressive tally of 9 medals in just fourteen appearances. He also has a YouTube channel in which he posts videos of him performing stunts on bikes and cars, along with his friends. The channel has managed to amass over a million subscribers and more than 200 million views over a period of two years. He is the first rider to perform a ‘front flip tailwhip’ in a competition and a ‘seat stand front flip’ on YouTube. He has participated in a number of competitions and has been sponsored by brands like Hyper Bikes, Vans Shoes and Pro-tec Helmets. He owns a bike shop that also sells fancy safety gears. He has also appeared as himself in movies like ‘Hella Crazy’ and ‘Next X’ which has inspired youngsters to take up riding. He met with a serious accident while shooting for a commercial of Monster Energy Drinks. He suffered another major setback when he injured his back while competing in the 2016 X Games.
