Sebastián Yatra, is a Colombian-American singer, songwriter, and composer. He has released numerous mixtapes, EPs, studio albums, singles and promotional singles till date. With his warm blend of Latin pop, reggaeton and romantic balladry, Yatra first found success as a teen when his 2013 track "El Psicólogo” garnered positive reviews in his native Colombia. Three years later, his single "Traicionera" established him as a Latin pop star. Till date, the extremely talented singer has earned numerous awards, including a HEAT Latin Music Award and a Shock Award along with various other award nominations. As a young boy, Yatra studied piano and guitar, and was an enthusiastic footballer before deciding to pursue music as a profession. He began composing in 2013 and has since achieved considerable success in the field of music. Despite being an artiste with a massive fan following, Yatra is a private person and doesn’t like sharing details of his personal life with the media. In his free time, he likes to play football.

Career
Sebastián Yatra released his debut single "El Psicólogo" in 2013. The song was a hit in Columbia and other Latin American countries. A year later, he released the tracks "Todo Lo Que Siento" and "Love You Forever" along with the single "Para Olvidar" from his EP ‘Yatra’ which became a huge hit in Colombia, Ecuador, Venezuela as well as in the United States. This was followed by another track from the EP titled "Cómo Mirarte".
In 2016, Yatra released his mixtape ‘The Mixtape JukeBox, Vol. 1’ featuring the songs "Que Tengo Que Hacer" and "Lo Que Siento por Ti", the latter of which featured Karol G. That year, he also came up with a massive reggaeton and EDM hit titled "Traicionera" that solidified his status as a Latin pop star. The song became extremely popular in the Latin music scene, and also charted in Spain, eventually finding success throughout Europe. "Traicionera" was subsequently classified double platinum in Colombia.
The year 2017 saw him release the singles "Robarte un Beso," "Devuélveme el Corazón", "Suena El Dembow" and "Sutra". The following year, the singer released his debut studio album titled ‘Mantra’. He also released a few hits singles in 2018 that included "No Hay Nadie Más (My Only One)", "Ya No Tiene Novio", and "Vuelve". In 2019, Yatra released the tracks "Cristina" and "Un Año" from the album ‘Fantasía,’ the latter of which earned gold status by PROMUSICAE.
Besides these, the Columbian-American singer has also been featured on several singles by other artistes, such as Cali & El Dandee's "Por Fin Te Encontré" and "Ya No Hay Nadie Que Nos Pare" for TINI. He has also put out a number of promotional songs including "Si Esto No Se Llama Amor", "Below Zero", "Aquí Estaré", "Dime", "Te Regalo" and "Falta Amor".
Till date, Yatra has garnered numerous awards, including an ASCAP Latin Award and a Latin American Music Award for "Robarte un Beso". He has also earned nominations for the Latin Grammy Awards.
