In May 2013, long before she was a social media sensation, she started to post on Instagram.

Serene Hesri gained fame with her alluring travel, lifestyle, and fashion photos on her Instagram account, serenehesri. Her Instagram account showcases her eye-catching travel photos and herself posing dressed in trendy attire too.

Over the years, she has gained thousands of followers. She has also partnered with or promoted brands such as Mochino. She also posted about her cancer recovery on the platform.

She launched her YouTube account in May 2022. Her videos showcase beauty hauls, food updates, GRWM clips, and documentation of her cancer recovery. She has gained thousands of subscribers on the channel. Some of her most popular videos on the channel are WEAR "WEAR" EVERYWHERE!!! and FAMILY DAY AT MY SISTERS HOUSE!!

A July 18, 2020 TikTok clip showed her with her sisters. The clip went viral and earned her more than 124,000 likes. In another TikTok video, she featured her sister Sara. The video was set to the Justin Bieber track I Feel Funny.

Serene Hesri has featured her mother, Nina Haze, in a lot of her content. She grew up with her sisters, Sara, Sophie, Saby, and Sima, and her brother, Kareem Hesri, better known as Keemokazi.

While all her siblings are TikTok stars, Kareem is also a rapper and Sara has a huge fan base on Instagram too.

In September 2020, Serene was diagnosed with stage 3 Hodgkins Lymphoma, a form of cancer. She initially thought she had thyroid. However, she recovered completely by July 2021.

She is a supporter of charitable initiatives, such as the KAMS Foundation. Serene is fond of pottery and once learned the art at the Bitter Root Pottery in Los Angeles.

She once dated Kamran Siddiqui and has a pet Husky which she calls Luna.
