Shante Broadus has made appearances in TV shows like ‘The Mo’Nique Show’ and ‘E! True Hollywood Story.’ In 2007, she appeared alongside her kids on her husband’s reality show ‘Snoop Dogg’s Father Hood’. She also featured in a documentary titled ‘Reincarnated’.

Relationship with Snoop Dogg

Shante Broadus and Snoop Dogg started their relationship as high school sweethearts. They had two sons, Cordé and Cordell, before their marriage. They got married on June 12, 1997 at Marina Del Rey’s The Ritz Carlton. Broadus gave birth to their third child, daughter Cori, in 1999. With time, Snoop Dogg emerged as a highly popular rapper, songwriter, record producer, and actor. Their marriage went through some difficult times and on May 21, 2004, Dogg filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences. In an interview, Snoop Dogg admitted to cheating on his wife multiple times during his music tours. However, after realizing the value of his wife, he withdrew his petition. Also, their daughter was diagnosed with lupus during this time and her condition prevented him from separating from his family.

Snoop Dogg’s name was dragged into another cheating scandal when a woman named Celina Powell accused him of having an extramarital affair with her. In a tweet in July 2018, she implied that the rapper had a physical relationship with her.

However, amidst the ongoing controversy, Broadus flaunted a picture of her wedding ring on her Instagram account, implying that all was well between the couple. Despite many people called her husband a ‘cheater’, she didn’t utter a single word against him. The couple has been going strong despite the controversy. They even attended the 33rd Annual Cedars-Sinai Sports Spectacular together in July 2018.

Besides being a mother of three, Shante Broadus is also a stepmother to Dogg’s child, Julian Corrie, from his relationship with a woman named Laurie Holmond. She is also a grandmother to Zion, the baby boy born to her son Corde and his girlfriend Jessica Kyzer. Broadus is close friends with the famous female rapper Mia X.
