Shareef Jackson was born on November 17, 1995, in the United States of America. There is contradictory information available on how many siblings he has. Most reputable news and information websites show that he has three siblings, brothers, O'Shea Jr. and Darrell, and sister Karima. However, some websites claim he has a second sister named Deja. There are also contradictory claims about when she was born. Some sources state that she is the youngest of five siblings while others hold the view that she is the twin sister of Kareema, and that they were born together on February 17, 1994.

Shareef Jackson’s father, Ice Cube, is originally from Los Angeles, California. He found initial fame as a member with a group named C.I.A. After their split, Ice Cube formed N.W.A. with Arabian Prince, Dr. Dre, and Eazy-E in 1986. A year later, DJ Yella and MC Ren joined the group. Active between 1986 and 1991, N.W.A brought about drastic changes in rap as a musical genre. They received both praise and criticism for their explicit lyrics.
