She rose to fame after starting to date NBA center Shaquille O’Neal.

Her television show ‘Basketball Wives’ also sheds light on important issues such as single motherhood, self-esteem, parenting styles and the influence of parenting on the children.
During 2012 and 2013, she was a part of the Mission Christmas Eve for the Homeless.
She has started her own collection of footwear, partnering with Chinese Laundry. The shoes are of modern and chic design with a price range from $79.95 to around $200.

Shaunie dated NBA player, Shaquille O’Neal, for quite some time. The couple welcomed a son, on January 11, 2000. They named him Shareef Rashaun O’Neal. Their daughter, Amirah Sanaa, was born in 2001.
The couple got married on December 26, 2002 at the Beverly Hills Hotel.
They welcomed their third child together, Shaquir Rashaun, on April 19, 2003.
In 2006, Shaunie gave birth to the couple’s fourth child, Mearah, on May 1, 2006.
She had a son, Myles, from a relationship prior to getting married to Shaquille O’Neal.
The couple was always in the spotlight due to allegations of infidelity. After five years of marriage, on September 4, 2007, Shaunie and Shaquille separated.
