The Skylander Family created their first channel, 'FUNnel Vision,' in the fall of 2006. However, the first video was uploaded a few months later, in August 2007. Initially, it was a vlog channel, but the range of content diversified later. As its title suggests, the channel stands for “Fun All Day” and documents all the adventurous experiences of Skylander Dad and his family. The channel has now emerged to be an all-rounder, posting all kinds of entertaining videos, with content such as food challenges, vlogs, road trips, pranks, house tours, skits, and vacation diaries. The channel has also documented their family trips, for instance, their trips to places such as 'Disneyland,' Hawaii, water parks, 'Legoland,' 'Hollywood Studios,' and the Bahamas. The channel has more than five million subscribers and is among the most popular 'YouTube' channels at present.

Skylander Dad is fully supported by his wife, better known as "Skylander Mom." He refers to her as his right hand. One of the most popular videos on the channel, ‘Baby Eating Salt and Vinegar Chips! First Time Trying & Eating Reaction!,’ features her.

In 2012, Skylander Dad launched his second channel, ‘TheSkylanderBoy AndGirl.’ The channel is named after the online pseudonyms of two of his children. The channel mostly hosts gaming videos, which provide walkthrough gameplays, tips, and tricks. Skits, creative custom videos, unboxings, giveaway contests, and music, too, are part of the content.

The following year, Skylander Dad created his third channel, 'FGTeeV.' This particular channel has a subscriber base of over six million, which is the highest of all the four channels. The channel, aptly named 'Family Gaming Team,' is a great source of entertainment for video-game lovers and a platform where they can enjoy gaming videos, sketch-comedy videos, toy unboxings, and fun vlogs. The channel contains gameplay videos for a variety of games such as 'Minecraft,' 'Angry Birds,' 'FNAF,' 'Mario Kart,' 'Super Mario Bros,' 'Amazing Frog,' 'Plants vs Zombies,' 'Pokemon Go,' 'Hello Neighbor,' 'Slither.io,' 'Roblox,' 'Scribblenauts,' and many more.

The fourth channel of the series was launched in the first half of 2015. Titled 'DohMuchFun,' this particular channel is entirely dedicated to kids and toys. This channel, too, has over a million subscribers.

Skylander Dad has registered his presence on various other social-media platforms, too. His 'Instagram' account called '@skylanderdad' has now been renamed '@funnelvisionfam.' The account currently has more than 189 thousand followers. The family owns a merchandize line, which they trade on the shopping site 'spreadshirt.com.'

Skylander Dad was born on October 29, 1974, in the US. He is married to fellow "YouTuber" Samantha, better known as “Skylander Mom.” The couple has four children, namely, Lexi (“Skylander Girl”), Michael (“Skylander Boy”), Chase (“Lightcore Chase”), and Shawn (“Skylander Baby”). The aunts of the ‘Skylander’ kids, Heidi and Elyssa, have their own ‘YouTube’ channel, 'Funkee Bunch,' where they appear with their parents, Tom and Jodi.

Through his 'YouTube' channels, Skylander Dad has showcased his passion for adventure, rapping, and animation.
