Slayyy Hailey Bio

Slayyy Hailey was born Hailey Quintero on February 22, 2004, in Manhattan, New York City, United States of America. She started dancing at a young age and was eventually encouraged by her parents to take up dancing seriously. Hailey had a tough childhood as her parents got separated when she was just three years old. After her parents’ separation, she started focusing on improving her dancing skills which would later come in handy while posting videos on social media platforms. When she was in her seventh grade, she hurt her hamstrings while attempting a popular dance move known as ‘splits.’ Because of her injury, Hailey could not dance for the next seven months which gave her an opportunity to explore her skills as a singer. She is currently attending a performing arts school where she learns singing.

Slayyy Hailey started posting TikTok videos at a young age. She started off by posting lip-sync videos and later went on to add dance and comedy videos which started gathering more number of views. Her popularity increased in late 2016 when her dance videos became famous among other TikTok users. At present, her TikTok account has millions of fans and likes, making her one of the youngest Tik Tokers to have such a huge fan base in the United States. Meanwhile, Hailey also created a self-titled YouTube channel which currently has thousands of views and subscribers. Most viewed videos on her YouTube channel include ‘Christmas haul 2018,’ ‘15 things that you guys did not know about Slayyy Hailey,’ and ‘Taco Mukbang.’ She is also famous on Instagram where she has thousands of followers.

After going their separate ways, Slayyy Hailey’s parents found love outside their marriage. Hailey now has a stepfather, stepmother, and two step-siblings. She is close to her younger brother Noah Alexander who is often featured on her official Instagram page. She has another younger brother named Bryce who was born in February 2019. She is also close to her cousin Kay who too gets featured on her Instagram page. Her best friend Sean appeared in her YouTube video ‘First Q and A with Bestfriend.’ Hailey is of mixed ethnicity and can speak Spanish, French, and English languages fluently.

Slayyy Hailey attributes her social media success to her pet dog Ramy which died on July 15, 2016. In one of her videos, she revealed that she became famous three months after her dog’s death and hence believes that Ramy’s demise might have something to do with her sudden fame. In the same video, she also revealed that she is very sensitive and that she gets upset very easily. Hailey loves stuffed toys and enjoys spending time with them. She currently lives in New York City, New York.
