Steven Fernandez had started skateboarding from a very early age as he came from a very poor family and did not have any other means to entertain himself. Hestarted making videos and appearing in them since 2012. ‘Premier Skate Board Shop’ was the first company to sponsor his video on skateboarding after which Steven became established as a professional skateboarder. After getting this break he went on to promote other brands with his skills on the skateboard. He became famous when he appeared in a documentary produced by ‘Frontline’ that featured teen stars of the social media. He has more than 180,000 followers on Twitter, more than 700,000 followers on YouTube and more than 100,000 followers on Instagram.A local apparel company named ‘Honey Brand’ which produces clothing for skateboarders has drawn up a contract with him and KeelanDadd to promote their apparel. He also promotes various articles for some other companies such as ‘The Berrics,’, ‘Treehouse’, ‘Gold Wheels’, ‘Grizzly Griptape’ and others.

Steven Fernadez is an unusual YouTube star who hit the headlines with his videos on various topics ranging from events in his life to videos which had a large amount of funny content. He is highly popular for the videos he creates by uploading different tricks that he could perform on the skateboard. He accompanies the trick videos with hints on how to carry out these tricks which has made him immensely popular with youngsters who love to ride skateboards. Some of the videos he made are on the topic of how to pick up girls which unfortunately helped the police in establishing his modus operandi in carrying out the actual act and aided in arresting him for sexual felony.

Steven Fernandez was embroiled in a controversy recently when he was arrested along with Jose Barajas and KeelanDaddonthe allegation that they had sexually exploited a 12-year-old girl. The arrest has been a result of an operation that had been planned and executed over a month when reports first reached the police that the three had been trying to entice young girls to carry out sexual acts in videos. The girls were made to agree to do these acts in return for being introduced to famous performers who could help them appear in MTV videos. The police sent a 12-year-old girl as a decoy and arrested the three when she was invited to an abandoned place for carrying out sexual acts. As the girl’s age was less than 14 years it constitutes a felony for which Fernandez may have to spend 8 years in jail. Even though he is a minor, his name was released by the police in the hope that more girls would come forward and testify against him. Till now, four more girls aged 16 and under have come forward to report that they were enamored by his fame and popularity and wanted to make a name for themselves by working with him. Instead they were assaulted by the three.

Steven Fernandez was born in Compton, Los Angeles County, United States, on February 27, 2000. He grew up with three brothers and one sister. His parents were very poor and had to struggle to feed the children and pay the bills. His father had eye-cancer and his mother did not have any job which put the family into huge financial distress. They lived somehow, hoping that someday a miracle would happen that would change their lives forever. As he came from a very poor background, Steven could not enjoy the life of a normal child and spent most his time skateboarding. He learnt skateboarding at an early age from his father who was also a professional skateboarder. The money he earned as a skateboarder for promoting products of various companies changed the life of his family altogether.
