Steven R. McQueen Biography

Steven R. McQueen started his career in 2005 with the role of ‘Jordan Peters’ in the CBS science fiction drama ‘Threshold’ (episode Blood of the Children’). In the same year, he was signed to play the role of ‘Kyle Hunter’ in the American drama television series ‘Everwood’, created by Greg Berlanti. He was part of the show in the 2005-06 season, appearing in seven episodes in an recurring role. In 2006, McQueen appeared as “The Kid” in the short drama film ‘Club Soda’, written and directed by Paul Carafotes. McQueen was highly praised for his role in the short film and was honored with the Beverly Hills Film Festival Award for the Best Male Performance.

In 2008, he appeared in the Disney Channel Original Movie ‘Minutemen’, as ‘Derek Beaugard’, an opportunistic young male who manipulates his best friend to gain personal advantages. McQueen appeared in the science-fiction film alongside Jason Scott Dolley, Nicholas Braun, and Chelsea Kane Staub. McQueen was a series regular between 2009 and 2015 and later came back for a guest appearance in 2017. He was nominated at the Youth Rock Awards for Rockin TV Actor in 2011 and at the Teen Choice Awards for Scene Stealer Male in 2013. He appeared in the 2010 American 3D horror-comedy film ‘Piranha 3D’, as ‘Jake Forester.’ The film was a remake of the 1978 horror film ‘Piranha’.

McQueen was a series regular in the American action drama television series ‘Chicago Fire.’ He played ‘Jimmy Borrelli’ between 2015 and 2016, appearing in 25 episodes.

Steven Chadwick McQueen was born in Los Angeles, California, on July 13, 1988. He is the son of the actor cum producer Chad McQueen and Stacia Robitaille. He is the grandson of the legendary actors Terence Steven McQueen and Ruby Neilam Salvador Adams. He has three younger half-siblings.

In addition to his acting career, McQueen is also a skilled martial artist and has trained in various forms of combat sports.
