On January 6, 2011, Steven created a YouTube channel under the name MlgHwnT. This was the beginning of his career on social media. The channel was focused on videos related to Minecraft commentaries and animated videos. The channel started gaining popularity and even featured collaborations with other YouTubers like AviatorGaming, SkyDoesMinecraft, MunchingBrotato, and BurtGasm. By 2014, Steven had become one of the more popular YouTube gamers and created a second channel named HWNTwo, which was not centered on Minecraft.
His career took an upward turn when in March 2015, Steven Suptic was offered to join the gaming channel Super Panic Frenzy run by Discovery Digital Networks. He moved to Los Angeles to build a career based solely on Minecraft videos for the rest of his life. On March 16, 2015, he started his collaboration with Reina Scully on the channel under the direction of Philip DeFranco, the creator of SourceFed.
This was the beginning of a long working relationship with SourceFed for Steven. They started a YouTube channel named Super Panic Frenzy, which featured gaming videos and other content in English and Japanese. The channel was finally closed on August 9, 2016, and by that time, Steven Suptic has become a big name in the world of vlogging. During this time, he also had two very popular animated series on YouTube, namely To Kill a YouTuber and Wild Adventures.
By the end of 2015, Steven Suptic had already gotten disillusioned with Minecraft. He had done almost everything related to the game and wanted to focus on his original vlogs. In 2016, he renamed his own channel to The Steven Suptic Experience. He also started posting videos on fun challenges and skits. On July 13, 2015, he published his first video Bro Threesome which became one of the most popular videos on his rebranded channel.
In the meantime, due to his great relationship with Philip DeFranco, he got rehired as the main host of SourceFed in September 2016. Suptic remained a member of the team until March 25, 2017, when the channel was closed. His ideas, creativity, and hosting abilities played a major part in making SourceFed one of the most popular channels of all time.
In 2017, Steven Suptic started putting most of his focus on his own channel which had been renamed Sugar Pine 7. He hired ex-SourceFed editor Autumn Farrell and this really changed the quality of his videos. I hired Autumn, and here's why, Sourcefed's April Fool's prank, and Just a Couple Friends - Acoustic (Music Video) are some of the most viewed videos on his channel. He also created the comedy web series Alternative Lifestyle which became a major hit with his viewers. Suptic also started doing podcasts on his channel under the name Beyond the Pine. The channel was also joined by Youtube stars, Clayton "Cib" James, and James DeAngelis.
On March 5, 2017, Steven Suptic along with longtime friend Reina Scully started the podcast channel Boys Only Club. While the duo hasn’t posted any new content since March 2018, the channel still hosts around 60k subscribers.
In 2018, Sugar Pine 7 came in collaboration with Rooster Teeth and became a part of the Let's Play Network. However, their partnership came to an end in 2019. Around the same time, Sugar Pine 7 announced the discontinuation of their Alternative Lifestyle series. In 2021, Steven announced on Twitch that he would no longer host the Beyond The Pine podcast, thereby leaving the show in the hands of Clayton James and James DeAngelis.
Steven is now active on Twitch where he streams popular video games like Among Us, UNO, Minecraft, and Valorant. He also posts highlights of Twitch streams on his new Youtube channel, Steve Suptic LIVE. The channel currently has over 37k subscribers.
