Career

Susan was just a regular waitress at Chico Hot Springs in Paradise Valley in 1974. Her future took a turn when the actor, Jeff Bridges, arrived at her restaurant and spotted Susan. While Jeff was in town to shoot his Western ‘Rancho Deluxe’, Susan was going about her daily tasks. Bridges fell in love the instant he saw her and immediately asked her out. Despite initial rejections, the couple ended going out on several dates together and hit it off. After realizing they couldn’t live separately, Susan decided to move in with Jeff at Malibu.

In some time, they decided that a marriage was inevitable and decided to tie the knot in June 1977. After this, Susan was actively involved in all of Jeff’s movies and worked along with him. She even starred in the film ‘Forbidden Zone’ in 1980 after being a part of the industry. In 1989, she turned producer for the movie ‘Cold Feet’.

Despite being around the industry for so long, Susan prefers remaining behind the camera and accompanying her doting husband to his sets and ceremonies. She is usually spotted cheering him during award ceremonies and other events. The duo is often spoken about in the media for their strong marriage and love they continue to share with each other. Jeff often calls Susan his ‘main teacher’ and credits that they have ‘worked on 50 movies together’ because he wouldn’t have been able to do it without her support. The influential couple grew stronger by the years, and Susan’s philanthropical work has ensured that are rooted in their community as well. She is not an active part of any social media networks and rarely gives interviews to the media.

Susan Geston was born in 1953 in the Fargo region of North Dakota region in the USA. She grew up in the same locality as well. She met her future husband, the actor Jeff Bridges, when she was a waitress in Paradise Valley, Montana. The two dated for a while before deciding the get married at Susan’s insistence. The couple tied the knot on 5 June 1977 and are happily married till this day. Their 40-year-old marriage has often been spoken of positively in the media as the couple’s devotion and love towards each other is obvious every time they are seen together. They have three children together: Isabelle Annie Bridges (6 August,1981), Jessica Lily Bridges (14 June 1983) and Haley Roselouise Bridges (17 October, 1985). Susan’s hobbies including writing songs, playing the guitar, and photography. She is also actively involved in charity work.
