Tammy Slaton, along with her sister Amy Slaton, shot into limelight after they starred in TLC Network’s reality television show 1,000-lb Sisters. The show follows the lives and journey of the two sisters as they try to lose weight. The combined weight of the two sisters at the start of the show was a little over thousand pounds, with Tammy weighing more than 600 lbs. Through the show, the sisters hoped to inspire other people who were suffering from same kind of issues. The show has completed two seasons and has been renewed for a third season.

Before the reality show, both the sisters were You Tube personalities and had gained a lot of recognition online by posting a variety of videos. Tammy Slaton joined You Tube in 2018 and has since then gained over 1.19 lakhs subscribers. Her Instagram account @queentammy86 has more than 200K followers.

Tammy Slaton was born on 27th July, 1986 in Kentucky, United States. She has a sister named Amy Slaton and a brother named Chris Combs.
