Taylor Zakhar Perez Biography

Taylor Zakhar Perez began his acting career in 2008, in the short film Hush. In 2012, he made his TV debut in the teen sitcom iCarly, in a guest role. In 2013, he starred in sitcom Suburgatory. In 2014, he was seen in two TV shows in guest roles. The first one was the teen comedy-drama series Awkward, while the second one is a political satire series Alpha House.

In 2015, he was seen in the romantic comedy-drama series, Young & Hungry, in a guest role. In 2016, he was seen in two TV shows where he played guest roles. He appeared in the medical drama series Code Black, and in the horror series 12 Deadly Days. The same year, he was also seen in the TV film Cruel Intentions, in the role of Mateo De La Vega, one of the main characters.

In 2017, he played a recurring role in the first season of the TV sitcom Embeds. The series focuses on five young men who recently graduated and are working as embedded reporters for various national news organizations on the presidential campaign trail. The same year, he had a guest role in the TV series High Expectasians. In 2018, he appeared in another TV series Scandal, in a guest role.

He became popular in 2020, after his appearance in the teen romantic comedy film The Kissing Booth 2 which was released on the popular streaming platform Netflix. The film is a sequel to the 2018 film The Kissing Booth. Though the film received significant popularity, it was met with negative reviews. Perez played one of the main characters named Marco Valentin Pena. The same year, he also played a role in the short film Philanthropy.

Taylor Zakhar Perez was born on 25th December 1991, in South Side, Chicago. He is of Mexican background. Not much is known regarding his childhood.
