In his career so far, Todd Chrisley has appeared in several TV series like ‘Steve Harvey’ and ‘The Domenick Natii Show’. However, he became a star only after he launched his own show ‘Chrisley Knows Best’ in 2014. The show centers on his life as a real estate mogul and as a family man. Reviews of the show have mostly been mixed. Tom Gliatto of the weekly magazine ‘People’ gave the show a rating of 75% and a positive review, stating that it is the best family reality series since ‘Honey Boo Boo’ and ‘The Osbournes’. Meanwhile, Hilary Busis of the American magazine ‘Entertainment Weekly’ gave the show a mixed review, and criticized the canned lines and sub-sitcom storylines. However, she praised the Chrisley crew for being hilarious. The show has aired six seasons so far, as of April 2019.

Chrisley was once considered an inspirational figure for being a self-made millionaire. In 2012, he filed for bankruptcy protection. After three years, he stated that his case had been discharged.

Todd Chrisley was born in Georgia, US, on April 6, 1969, and grew up in South Carolina. He hasn’t revealed much regarding his parents and early life. However, it is known that his family lived a humble life. He didn’t pursue a college degree after high school.

Todd was first married to Theresa Terry. Not much is known about their relationship, but the couple eventually divorced in 1996.

He married his second wife, Julie Chrisley, on 25th May 1996. She also became famous through her appearance in the show ‘Chrisley Knows Best’. Todd has five children from his two marriages, Lindsie Chrisley Campbell, Grayson Chrisley, Chase Chrisley, Kyle Chrisley and Savannah Chrisley.

He became the subject of a controversy when his first wife Theresa claimed that he had physically and mentally abused her. He denied all the allegations.
